A Timeless Ramadan Fashion Trend

THE TREND THAT WOULD NEVER GO OUT OF STYLE:
EMBRACING RAMADAN’S LAST NIGHTS

A trend that would never go out of style, no matter the season and with each fashion era. Every passing collection, we spot more and more abayas and kaftans in between the pieces. The orientalism vibe is not just a passing trend. It has always been there… with twists and tweaks. Tony has always included them in his main collections, while blending them with his architectural DNA, the house’ embroideries signature and, with the theme of that specific collection. They always fall harmoniously in place. For this season, and during the last week of Ramadan nights, we rounded up kaftan-like dresses with intricate detailing from the Tony Ward Spring Summer 2024 collection ‘The Other Side Of Eden’ that has just landed in our Beirut and  Paris showrooms, as well as in the affiliated worldwide boutiques.

THE RAMADAN LOOKS

That woman is fierce! She goes for a pop of color with this flashy pink scuba dress, and thread of embroideries crafted on the bust. It’s all in the dramatic pockets for a fancier pose and waistline bow for a trendier twist. The neckline complements the statement detailing with a bold collar.

The woman with a Couture soul… Deep pink fully beaded fitted dress with threads of ton-sur-ton embellishments and a halter neckline. The matching cape is a twist that we are spotting more nowadays in the glamorous oriental night outs.

Her edginess is all for the sheerness and playful transparencies. She goes for a peach tulle dress with a draped bust and pleated sheer skirt, revealing the lace underneath; shimmers of silver stones scattered asymmetrically on the waistline. The look wouldn’t be complete without a matched tulle cape with the silver embellishments gathered to form a collar-like necklace.

That woman is volatile, yet determined. From off-white golden shimmers to deep black golden contrasts: she chooses a kaftan-dress with theatrical statement open-sleeves and belted waist for the allure!

For the romantic in her! Fully embroidered greige tulle dress in shimmers of silver and gold, to sparkle the space that surrounds her; These embellishments are intricately crafted to degrade up to the neckline and form a statement beaded collar. Puffy sleeves for the drama.

She steps into her space in a fitted dress and goes for the shimmers, everything that glows. Kaftan-dress in skin tone with three-dimensional royal blue and peach flowers scattered around the neckline, and falling on the dramatic sleeves. It merges with filaments of silver and gold embroideries. A centered slit lined with shimmers for the twist.

She lives between circles, and has a sensual taste in the refined mix of materials; Silky crepe green Kaftan with neckline embroideries of mixed stones and sequins, falling into an asymmetrical one-sided sleeve.

SHE WALKS IN…

She is in Tony Ward Ready-to-Wear Spring Summer 2024 pieces, for her oriental night out. These kaftans-inspired dresses are part of a  collection with a Couture soul and with innovative techniques into an Eden-body of the woman. She pulls them up in full confidence and walks into a room filled with beautiful oriental vibes and flair. She marks her entrance.
